Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 10, 2026
Dockyard Ninja ("the App") is a free mobile puzzle game. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or phone number. The App collects the following anonymous data:
- Game analytics — level completions, scores, stars earned, session counts. Collected via Google Firebase Analytics to improve game balance and user experience.
- Advertising data — ad impressions, interactions, and performance metrics. Collected by Google AdMob to serve relevant ads.
- Device information — device type, operating system, app version. Used for compatibility and crash reporting.
- Push notification tokens — if you opt in to push notifications, a device token is stored locally and registered with Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Purchase data — if you buy the optional "Remove Ads" in-app purchase, the purchase receipt and an anonymous app user ID are processed by RevenueCat to validate the transaction and restore it on reinstall.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Improve game balance, level design, and user experience
- Display ads (interstitial and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob)
- Send push notifications about new levels and updates (only if you opt in)
- Monitor app performance and fix bugs
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
4. Data Storage
Game progress (completed levels, scores, collectables) is stored locally on your device. We do not store your game progress on our servers. If you uninstall the app, your local progress is lost.
Leaderboard scores and achievements are stored by Google Play Games Services (Android) or Apple Game Center (iOS) and persist across devices within the same platform.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app displays ads that comply with Google's policies for mixed-audience apps.
6. Ad Tracking (iOS)
On iOS, the App requests permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (App Tracking Transparency). This is used by AdMob to serve more relevant ads. You can decline this request and still use the App with non-personalized ads.
7. Your Choices
- You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings
- You can disable push notifications in your device settings
- You can reset your advertising identifier in your device settings
- You can delete all local data by uninstalling the App
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page.
